You can use terrycloth with the Quick Turn method of finishing, since no binding strip is needed.
If you have small towels, you may need to sew two of them together to get a big enough piece of terrycloth.
Watch out for snagged loops when sewing terrycloth. (See the left point of the sewing foot above?) The loops like to catch on the sewing foot, where they hang on until they get pulled out in long strings. Be careful about dragging towels across the feed dogs, too, especially when starting or finishing a seam.
These towels are ready to be used as Quick Turn backing.
