Here's a quilt that has been Quick Turned...
...but still has an open seam gap.
Fold the top and bottom "lips" of the gap in on itself so that no raw edges are showing. Use pins to keep the folds.
Sew the gap shut. Use a zigzag seam, if possible, to catch as much of the folds as possible. (I forgot and used a straight seam. Never mind that though, a zigzag seam is better if you have it.)
All right! The quilt is now ready for tying.
